Horse Riding Instructors: You will be able to enjoy the nature's beauty of our Ecosystems; Flora, Fauna, rock formations, exercise your body and mind and practice

MODERATE exercise. The Estate has preserved its lands to protect birds, mammals and all types of endangered species. The farm is located along the "Tortuguero" Hydrologic Cavern System, where it collects all of nature's rainfall in the area for deposit at the Tortuguero Lagoon, preserving the ecological balance of this water system.

Occasionally you will be able to WATCH BUT NOT INTERFERE with small turtles nesting in the area.

Upon arrival to the premises, your first stop is the Ranch!

Here you will be greeted by the friendly Staff, and will be shown around the facilities. Next you will be given the safety rules and instructions of horseback riding. One of our guides will instruct you briefly on how to handle a horse: saddle care, stops, turns, pace, etc. You will be provided with a release and waiver form explaining in detail all the safety and riding instructions. Now it's time to saddle up!

You will be introduced to your tour guide who will help you adjust the riding equipment and mount the horse, so you will feel comfortable during the ride; and he will make sure that everything runs smooth and make of this a pleasant experience.

Remember that from this moment on you are riding a horse... a live animal. Don't get scared by the horse's natural movements.

Relax and enjoy your ride. At the end of the ride you will be served water or refreshments and transferred to starting point.
